Does anyone have links to Chapters 26-27 of the manga? Interested in staying as up to date as possible.

Where did you find those links, by the way? Searching them normally via IMGUR won't get any results, and I'm curious how we could track for updates this way.

Because it would be a relatively large change here, I'd like to propose that in advance.

I have reviewed the official manga translation, and noticed several character's names as used here is different from that translation, and I intend to change these names according to the form used by the official translation:

  • Killer T leader's title is "Squad Leader" instead of "Commander," especially given "commander" seems to be reserved to Helper T. See Chapter 11 (Common Cold)
  • "Normal Cell" is to be renamed "Ordinary Cell", based on the terminology used in Chapter 12 (Thymocyte)

I think we need to use the same names for this wiki.

  1. We need to decide whether U-1146 and his kin should be called White Blood Cells or Neutrophils. The usage on this wiki is quite inconsistent, although I think the manga is even more confusing, despite U-1146 is called "White Blood Cell" rather than "Neutrophil" in-story.
  2. I propose the following naming system for the rest to distinguish between a species of personified cells, one particular personified cells of that species, or talking about real-life biology of the same cells. For example:
    • Red Blood Cell refers solely to AE3803.
    • Red Blood Cells refers to personified red blood cells in general, including AE3803, AA5100, DB5963, NT4201 etc.
    • red blood cell(s) refers to the real-life cells of the same type. For example, in Artistic License – Biology, we say "Red blood cells don't transport nutrients, aside from oxygen[...]" since we're talking how those cells function in real life.

What's your opinion on these questions?

I'd personally refer to U-1146 as that or Neutrophil. Other White Blood Cells should be called as such.

I'd be fine with the naming proposed for Red Blood Cells.

I think another issue in regards to naming would be the Killer T-Cell Commander. I propose calling him that consistently, as there are multiple Killer T Cells and Memory T Cells.

Same goes for Memory B Cell. Could be a confusion with Memory T Cells.

^ Just to say, the rule that you think to apply to Red Blood Cells are generally applicable. Now it's be very likely to apply to the Platelets, with Leader-chan being the default.
