A small discrepancy: The entry for Hush points to the wrong film. It should be based on this film: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1082899_hush
It looks like there's no TV Tropes entry for this film.

I don't know, this sounds like it makes the heroes incapable of handling the situation at all if they are not trying to stop the Villain, even if they use their capabilities and powers to their greatest effect. It either seems like they aren't trying, or they aren't capable at all.
