Removed this example because it draws a parallel but, aside from The Lord (whose subjective experience isn't much elaborated upon and probably isn't comprehensible to humans or tropable, anyway), nobody goes inside of somewhere, experiences a day, and comes out a millennium later.

  • The Christian belief stated in Peter's second epistle of The Bible that "with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day" (2nd Peter 3:8) to account for why people think it's taking so long for Jesus to return as "quickly" as He promised...unless you happen to believe in preterism.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.
