"Chocolate Rain" doesn't belong here. Once you learn that it's about racial prejudice and wealth inequality, it's pretty easy to understand.

If anyone's familiar with Xandria (they're kind of like Nightwish,) I can't decide if they play this straight or downplay it, at least in comparison to Nightwish. Should I include them, or are they too small-name for a mention? Also, I was thinking about adding on the main part something like, "Just to clarify, Word Salad Lyrics aren't necessarily bad. They just don't make a lot of sense, on paper or in the context of the song." I thought it would discourage Writing About Songs You Don't Like. Is that necessary, or is that automatically understood by editors?

Anime songs are music, why are they under "non-music examples"?

Edited by lavendermintrose I made this Idolized Julius Kingsley icon back when Akito first came out, and now that the crossover is actually happening, I don't care.

Here are two word salad songs that I think should be added: Riptide by Vance Joy, Beware the Dog by the Griswolds I wasn't sure whether to add these to Pop or Rock though, because they are midway between both. Should an Alternative section be added for things like these?

Since Madonna is listed, "Justify My Love" qualifies with lyrics such as "Poor as the man", etc. The truth is, I can't stand the song because how Madonna sings it makes me cringe.

I put forward that this song should fit the bill in punk.

If there's a meaning to that song, please someone tell me.

Let's try and make sense of some of these. You know, for the lulz. I'll start us off with Linkin Park's "High Voltage".

I've been digging in the crates ever since I was living in space Before the rat race Before monkeys had human traits I mastered numerology and big bang theology Performed lobotomies with telekinetic psychology _____________________________________________________

Speaker is a laborer in outer space whose job is to organise crates inside warehouses. He has been doing it as long as he can remember, ever since before competitive assholes locked him there by taking all the better jobs before he even applies. It feels to him like it's been so long he's been doing it since before humans evolved from apes. He's a wiz at math and if given the chance is smart enough to prove the Big ang theory as fact using said math. and in the shadows he moonlights as a psychologist and uses telekinesis to perform lobotomies while distracting the patient with Roschache Tests.

Just out of curiosity, who is the only other person to have ever heard the Drunken Boat song I added as an example?

Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.
