It seems to me that this trope has some confusion going on already. Most of it is about things that create suspense by whooshing past the camera from offscreen and back to offscreen — but then you've got a couple of examples, a short paragraph in the description, and an image which are about things that create humor by starting onscreen and then whooshing off.
I would say that these are two different tropes that have nothing in common (neither the effect being created nor the way it's created) apart from "whooshing".
It particularly bothers me that the image chosen to illustrate the trope page has nothing to do with the version of the trope that the trope description describes.
