Edited by ArtsyTroper Hide / Show RepliesWeb animation come in different varieties whether can be original or fan-made.
Just like webcomics and regular live-action videos on the internet, Web animation is overpopulating and it's the most popular media form on the internet.
I could say that YouTube is an multimedia site so it has live-action videos and animated videos but both of these videos do have an massive community that goes same for the Fan-made anime community, at least the animators learn how to use an animation software.
Web animations are independent, so the ONLY web animation that has gone commercially is the ONA Magical Play.
Um hey, does anybody watch object shows around here because recently I have been editing a number of them and realized there are some that are Work in progress for a really long time. It would be nice if you can lend a hand and fill up these pages with content. These are the pages: Object lockdown, Modern objects, Open Source Objects and Excellent entities Thank you!
Edited by WhatervaI have a web animation show I'm working on, is it ok if I add it to examples? I read the notability page and all but I couldn't quite get it. :{
nya!~ Hide / Show RepliesIt is. There Is No Such Thing As Notability: if it's published, and if you include enough in the way of description & trope list for us to have any idea what it's like, it can be here. (If someone is silly enough to cut it, keep trying.) Since it is your work, I would recommend using the TroperWorks namespace for it; but I've no problem with it being here.

Should we even have works indexed here, like unless they're the few that have been there since the nineties, as well as individual web animators/animation teams (for lack of a better place)? We do have the decade indices within this page, not to mention a few genres.
