I am to assume that the mutual exclusivity between Villains Out Shopping and Complete Monster shows how the latter relies somewhat (emphasis) on presentation?

I myself am curious to know if there are legitimate examples of characters that go out shopping and be a Complete Monster without subverting the Villains Out Shopping trope.

I'm reposting this here because my image got "removed" during the archival process: [1]◊ I highly suggest that we make the picture for this trope entry a screenshot from the Phineas And Ferb episode "Unfair Science Fair Redux (Another Story)" where Dr. Doofenshmirtz is shopping in a store with Perry the Platypus (in the shopping cart's seat) when they run into Major Monogram and Carl the Intern. I think it fits the trope title better than the anime screenshot. In this picture, they're actually shopping.

We already had a picture war for this trope. There was that One Piece picture before the overhaul, and I think I can find a picture of Kyoko from Black Cat shopping.

We could try to have a crowner and settle it once and for all.
