I think the MLP quote at the top needs to be removed.

I'm a brony, but c'mon - the Percy Jackson quote fits the trope well, whilst the quote about Pinkie only works if you've seen the show. It just feels like an excuse to shoehorn an MLP reference in.

Thinking of which, it would be quite normal in Japan to wear weird clothes and have strange hair colour, considering they have cosplayers in multiple conventions. Normal people will actively avoid cosplayers and likely all the other odd ones, but they should be much less strange in Japan.

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between Unusually Uninteresting Sight and Weirdness Censor? They sound almost identical when you compare the two.

I guess the major difference is that the first is the effect while the latter is the cause. A person's weirdness censor could cause them to ignore an Unusually Uninteresting Sight. However, Unusually Uninteresting Sights are not necessarily always the result of a weirdness censor. A world in which the unusual sight is simply considered so common that it is uninteresting will not require a weirdness censor and they typically aren't ignored but just accepted.
