There is a mention of Snuff, which I do not dispute; but I am curious if this would deserve mention, from a previous Discworld book, in which Sam Vimes, at the point where history splits, picks up his OTHER self's disorganiser (fantasy PDA) instead of is own... he goes along with the plot but has to listen to the disorganiser informing him of his friends' demises (as in the alternate world they are dying). I'm loathe to add this, as I am not sure it fits the trope properly. Plus my description is rubbish, so if any Discworld fans could decide. Thanks.
The description currently says that the trope only counts if the swap is accidental, but all of those other occurrences seem to me like it is the trope just played with in different ways. For example, if a character misdirects or tricks Alice into making to mistake that is an Invoked Trope. Would like to remove that part if no one disagrees.
