Dubious about this entry under Webcomics:

Miss. Addison Constance Loveworth from Iron Gate is a proper 19th century lady who just loves answering her fans' questions, she just happens to be a vampire.

I haven't read the work, but from the description it seems like she's just an undead who's an author, not an example of the trope.

Film example: Sunset Boulevard! The main character actually starts the movie stone dead, floating face-down in a swimming pool. He then spends the entire film narrating in flashback, presumably from the afterlife, how he came to be there.
