Can we get a page image that doesn't involve abducting a bound-and-gagged woman? It looks decidedly un-heroic. Villainous, even.

Why is this called Two-Fisted Tales anyway? It's a little confusing because there's an example called Two-Fisted Tales that's explicitly mostly not this trope.

Basically it seems like a non-indicative titles since it describes actual pulp material just as well as this trope.

Pulled this:

  • Superman started out this way, before he started flying and shooting lasers out of his eyes.
Superman didn't start out as an homage to 1930s pulp characters, he started out as actually being a 1930s pulp character. The trope is Pulp as seen through the Nostalgia Filter, isn't it?
