"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis was cut as the discussed work is now a Permanent Red Link.
- The two sets of webcomics based on Erika's New Perfume are minor forms of this, as they play on the transformations of Marie and Sarah but do not so far include any more from there.
Technically, so as long as the example itself is fine, it can still stay.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWith Transformation Fiction just launched, this page's description looks too similar and the description needs an edit to further differentiate this trope.
EDIT: Thinking about it, maybe Transformation Comic should turn into Transformation Webcomics while Transformation Fiction absorbs the non-webcomic examples. It would make the Anime and Manga sections less confusing plus most of the examples are webcomics anyways.
Edited by 10.148.140.85 Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.why this only focuses on comics?. It should be renamed to transformations story and focus on all media, ir's a supetrope after all.
What do you think?
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Cut
- A huge inspiration on modern transformation stories are the collected works of Jack Chalker. Just listing all of the various transformations that have cropped up in his rather large body of work would be an undertaking; some of his highlighted stories include River Of Dancing Gods, the Well World series, and Downtiming The Night Side.
As this is a comics-only page, but if you want to discuss the roots of transformation fetish stories, go ahead on this, the discussion page.
I seem to have broken the indexing system. I added my comic, Type:TRAINER as an example and it suddenly stopped being an index. The same thing happened for the Fan Web Comics page. I have no idea how to fix it D:
SKJAM!: Cut
- The Continentals is a steampunk murder, mystery, scifi adventure webcomic set in post Jack the Ripper England where Continental Operative Jeffrey Tiffen Smythe and his gender bending partner the adventress Lady Fiona Fiziwigg investigating a series of brutal "mangling" murders uncovers a tangled web of intrigue, adventure—And murder!!! It has a strong Jekyll/Hyde-esque element to the plot.
As there's no evidence of actual transformations in the story as yet. Lady Fiona may just like dressing in men's clothing.
