Could someone elaborate on the difference between Tranquil Fury and Dissonant Serenity? The page says "they look the same on paper but are very different in practice." I've read both pages and I still don't get it.
Is there a reason that 90% of the examples of this trope beyond Anime/Manga aren't showing up on my computer?
Hide / Show RepliesNo idea. The history doesn't show anything odd happening, and it works for me.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Picture should be of River Tam specifically the Reaver scene or Bar scene.
Hide / Show RepliesNot really, River's crazy and fits a lot of tropes. The page picture should be something that matches Tranquil Fury specifically.
Ignorance killed the cat. Curiosity was framed. What about Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke? Like when he stops the fight between Lady Eboshi and San and the demon-worm thingys are swirling.
Why wasn't Naruto's Tranquil Fury against Pain after he learned of Kakashi's death mentioned here?
Hide / Show RepliesFour page quotes is too many. I moved two to Quotes and left two.
Ignorance killed the cat. Curiosity was framed.
Why are there no identifying labels (i.e. comic series names and issue number) to the comics section? In particular, the Spider-man subsection? Or the World War Hulk dot point? They just say 'this happened once' and never provide any adequate information to either check if what's written is true, or enjoy the comic the event's from.
I imagine there's plenty of people who would love to read those comics, just to see how utterly pis—-er, 'annoyed', those characters get, and how their enemies and allies respond. Plenty of people, not just me.
And considering there's about 318.9 million people in USA, 64.1 million in UK, and 23.13 million in Australia (2014 for USA, 2013 for UK/Aus), there should be at least one troper here who can at least name the comic and issue number, if not link to an online version.
What am I talking about? Quote from main article: "Evident when he [Spider-Man] believes that his rogues gallery killed a newborn baby. He spends the next issue barely uttering a word and shows a Batman level of efficiency and ruthlessness." Er, what issue? What comic series? When was the comic published? You can't just say 'the next issue' without identifying either the prior issue or the 'next' issue, people.
