Trope was defined as "graciously conceding a point" per TRS.

Is a random, practically omnipresent, phrase really worthy of a trope? People Sit On Chairs?

It's not a phrase. It's an acknowledgement.

And omnipresent is NOT people sit on chairs. Otherwise Omnipresent Tropes would not be a valid list.
