Do you expect us to know? Not everyone watches Californication, not everyone knows Lew, how can we tell if he qualifies if you don't tell us anything about him?

As it is, this trope is just "Character that are liked by some and that die at some point". I think about 80% of the examples should be removed.

It's worth bearing in mind, especially when adding entries to the Real Life section, that this trope is Too Cool To Live, not Too Cool To NOT DIE. If someone has lived a reasonably full life and then passes on, it can't be this trope.
