Something seems to have seriously damaged this page, converting many links to use double-curly brackets instead of square brackets, which effectively hides the links. Not just this page, either.
Edited by MentalMouse42The Adult Swim bumper about The Big O is listed under "Advertising" and "Western Animation"... which one should be removed?
Removing this Entry" One of the endings to Chrono Trigger that is only obtainable in a New Game+ leads to Marle discovering that she is now a descendant of Frog. She is not amused. This is an example of Luke, I Am Your Father, not Tomato in the Mirror.
I was just curious, but can "tomato in the mirror" be combined with "Everybody Knew Already", or is that a separate trope?
Hide / Show RepliesDunno. Maybe Lost And Found can tell?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI feel like this should be counted as a subtrope of something, I just can't place it though. Any suggestions?
I don't think the entry under Live Action TV attributed to Masters of Science Fiction is accurate. There were only six episodes of MoSF, and the description doesn't fit any of them. It doesn't seem to fit any of the episodes of Masters Of Horror, either.
Edited by PhillyDomI think it needs to be more clearly delineated how this is different from similar tropes, because it seems like way too many people are using it as And Then John Was a Zombie. I think the point is that they are what they think they are fighting, that they are the one who is wrong and the rest of the world is not. Am I getting that right? Because if that's what it is, that doesn't really apply to something like, say, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, which is an example here and has the trope listed on the series page.
I'm trying to place Naruto: Shippuden #271 in its' proper category. Sakura gets Easy Amnesia after she has a nasty fall. After everyone tries and fails to cure her, she finally recovers at the end of the episode. But there's a twist! This isn't the Sakura we all know and love; she's from an alternate universe! Then she disappears in a flash of light, presumably going back to her own universe. This leaves Ino wondering where the heck *her* Sakura is???
So, is this a "Tomato Surprise"? File under "Alternate Universe"? Something else? Inquiring minds want to know!
