It's not perfectly written, but the Orcs in Bright are A: treated as if they're an evil race due to their past and B: The backstory blatantly uses the trope.
That said, for the present day stuff, the thing is that the point is that Orcs aren't really all the bad, and no one likes the heroic orc anyway so it's downplayed enough that I don't think it's worth mentioning.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.If they're TREATED badly, then it's a Fantastic Racism. Backstory may qualify, but still needs a rewrite.
Removed "In The Ballad of East and West by Rudyard Kipling the hero is part of a regiment recruited from Pathan warriors, some of whom are on the opposite side as their cousins", because that's Token Enemy Minority.
So now with new name maybe we can find picture for it?
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.Maybe we should add something to make this trope also aobut "ork" character in group of other "heroic" races.

- Desconstructed in Bright: While orcs are not necessarily evil, they are hated and treated as second-class citizens in society for their ancestors' crimes. Nick Jakoby is the first orc police officer in Los Angeles, but not only is he subject to racism and bigotry from humans, he is treated as a pariah by his own people for selling out. This trope is also invoked as part of the backstory; it allows the other races to ignore that the hero who united all the races against the Dark Lord the orcs are blamed for serving was himself an orc as merely the exception that proves the rule. The elves manage to escape this thanks to their political power and wealth, even though many of the elves also sided with him and he was one himself
As far as I can tell, it's about evil races, or at least antagonistic ones, not just those nominally called "orcs". And if orcs aren't that in Bright then even if they're called orcs, Nick isn't this trope. Hide / Show Replies
