I would like to nominate the webcomic “fox girls are better” for consideration to be added to this trope as episode 7(page 7/comic 7) invokes and parodies this trope in which the protagonist of the world noble is teleported into unwraps a premade toast (with its own bite here area) and runs to school (in which she is late to and so begins her collision into noble)

K-On! starts out with this very meme. Yui's sister wakes her up, Yui thinks she's late, and dashes out the door with toast in her mouth. Don't know what happened to the toast a scene or two later. In a change to the usual scenario, Yui only *thinks* she's late, and upon arriving to school realizes she read her clock wrong, and it was an hour earlier.

Also: in "Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Odyssey of the Celestial Ark", when Mikage Kiryu slams into a group of pilots outside of her room, then picks herself up and continues running off to work (after a snipe at the pilots), Hiroki Shinohara says the incident would’ve been cuter if she was “eating a piece of toast.”
