Upon watching MeTV, It strikes me that this state is the rule for Live-Action Television, not the exception. Of all the series I watches there, the only ones with episode titles were Batman, Star Trek, F Troop, The Untouchables, and the last Season of Get Smart. Shows that I've watched that don't include an episode title card include Dragnet, Adam-12, Gilligan's Island, Hogan's Heroes, and Perry Mason.

The reason why it's noticeable is because a lot of us were raised on Western Animation; and even then, the puppet shows didn't have a episode title often...
