Saxony Canterbury, IMHO, should not be listed as a Beware the Nice Ones. He is more properly a Good Is Not Soft. I just read through the archives of Thunderstruck, and I cannot think of a single example of him losing his cool. Ever. When we first meet him, a thug tries to shoot him; he nearly lets the thug go, but once it's clear the thug is not inclined to let him walk away, Sax says conversationally "Oh, that bullet was behind your ear after all" and magically lets the bullet reappear and shoot the thug's head. That is Sax: basically good but not necessarily nice, and not soft.
