Could 'Those Two Bad Girls' be a possible alternative title for this trope.

I don't think the trope name works. It sounds too much like Those Two Guys who happen to be bad - and, indeed, many of the examples are just that.

Mr. Liche doesn't show any sgins of dumbness until he mentions one of them is smarter than the other.

China Mieville explicitly mentioned this page in an interview. I think it'd be cool to have this noted, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing so. Suggestions? (Plus, he calls TV Tropes magisterial.)
