Edited by IdeaMasterI don't think the trope name works. It sounds too much like Those Two Guys who happen to be bad - and, indeed, many of the examples are just that.

Will I be informed if people reply to my discussion post?China Mieville explicitly mentioned this page in an interview. I think it'd be cool to have this noted, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing so. Suggestions? (Plus, he calls TV Tropes magisterial.)
