I know this is 6 years old, but I truly feel like this topic should be re-opened. The tropes are indeed named incorrectly IMO.

There's a problem here, and it has been here for a while... "The Voiceless" actually bears a voice, but never demonstrates speech and therefore remains speechless. On the other hand, "The Speechless" actually lacks a voice and is therefore voiceless.
