Yes. In June-August the northern polar regions get midnight sun, in November-January, Antarctica does.

Could anyone tell me what that Scientific article is, or where it's published?
If it's permanently night somewhere, and the permanent night isn't somehow encasing the whole world, does that mean it's permanently day somewhere else?
