Shouldn't that be Gone Horribly Right? The Arrowhead Project was obviously trying to open portals to other dimensions. They obviously succeeded. And yes, they kept it secret, so, conspiracy, sure. But it was an accident that the things got let out. There was no indication that they were trying to extract the monsters for biological weapon capabilities a la Alien, so shouldn't that indicate the other trope?
My point being, doesn't Government Conspiracy require malice? And wasn't that the whole point of the tragedy of the sacrifice?
