Just to be clear, this trope's selection of weaponry isn't limited to handguns, is it?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Okay, I have some minor quibbles with the front page.
Why does the main page say you get double bonus points for a female gunslinger? What difference does being male or female have to do with using a gun? Both sexes can be can good at using guns and it's not like women haven't used guns in fiction or Real Life before, so it isn't really a subversion of "the norm" or anything. I don't know... "double bonus points" just feels like it is pointing out something that doesn't really need pointing out.
In addition, to that can we put Real Life examples on this page? There are on the Girls with Guns page, so I don't see why they couldn't be added here as well. Also, I'm sure there are some guys as well who could be added.
I totally hate my avatar. Just saying. Hide / Show RepliesBecause female gunslingers are rarer in fiction, and always sexier. Even to women. Men find women gunslingers sexy because of curves+weapons=hot. Women find female gunslingers sexy because (Escapist fantasy)+(security in sexuality)=(Female Empowerment)=hot.
I remember seeing one trailer on a game that has gunslingers manipulate their bullets to go through to places for clean shots (i.e. when they shoot, the bullets curve to the side).
Should we include that here?
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. Hide / Show RepliesU.S. Marshall Raylan Givens from the show Justified is an example of D.
I found a works page that references the old "typing". It's Escape from LA. I haven't seen the movie recently enough to remember what "type" he is. Does anyone remember what a "Type D" is?
