Would a small Hive Mind like the Stepford Cuckoos count towards this trope?
In the Chicago area circa 1960s-70s, there was a bakery called Burny Brothers. In their animated commercial, two identically-drawn bakers sang a jingle that began, "Who are we? Burny Brothers!" Later on in the commercial, the two characters swayed side to side as a unit—not in unison; they literally merged. Is this an example of twindividuals or of some different but related trope?
