  • Not a zombie, but He-Man arch foe Skeletor can see without eyes and talk without lips or tongue.
    • He's a lich, which is a type of undead.
    • As part of his general character redesign for The New Adventures of He-Man, Skeletor received actual eyeballs; in the pilot they were solid black with red highlights, but changed to green with black pupils thereafter.

This trope is about the dead/undead having eyes.

No version of Skeletor is undead. Undead on an afternoon kids' show was explicitly against the Rules for the early 1980s cartoons -their fragile little minds couldn't handle the horror, don't you know? The skeletal face was part of the price Skeletor paid for power when he was still a servant of the Horde, although exactly what happened depends on who was writing what when (even without fanfic). The 2002 remake was pulling from that when Skeletor got his power.
