I think we need an image change. I was thinking of that famous picture of Darth Vader as he's telling Luke he's his father. He's reaching out, so you could even keep the caption!

Dark Side > Conspiracy > Secrets; Secrets lead to Ignorance, Ignorance leads to fear. Mwah ha Hah!

Removed the Raistlin example. There's no indication that Raistlin's evil was the result of any sort of corrupting Dark Side influence; on the contrary, the books made a point of emphasizing that Raistlin made his own free choices and chose to be what he was.
