This trope writeup focuses more on the "Procedural/stunt boxing episode", where the boxing itself is the attraction. What about the more character/drama-focused episodes where the intensity of boxing is the medium used for working out other festering issues. Examples would be Battlestar Galactica and Hell on Wheels. The tone and motivation of the boxing is different enough that it's not really the same trope.

Does such a trope already exist, either specifically for boxing or for "any physical/sporting conflict that represents emotional/dramatic conflict"?
