Wouldn't As Good As It Gets be an example of this? Along with his other issues, he carries his own eating utensils, washes his hands with steaming hot water and antibacterial soap (once, and then throws the bar away because it has germs on it, now), and doesn't like physical contact.

I think the primary difference between the two is that a person who is Terrified Of Germs is afraid of getting sick, while the hypochondriac thinks that they are already sick, in any number of ways. They may overlap in other ways, and could be the same person in some of those cases.
