Isn't The Wily Wars coming out on the new Genesis Mini in both Europe and the US? Would that make it a... subversion? Aversion?

I think it'd qualify as a Subversion, as the game is being re-released in another context. A straight aversion would be if The Wily Wars was never only released online for a period of time in the first place.

Wouldn't Defunct Online Video Games count as exaggerations of this trope? The entire game is TOC by definition.
