The description for these tropes was recently changed by Garfield1601 by adding "and non-adolescent" after "...non-adult"

In addition, the following tropes were deleted from this index:

I do not agree with this change to the index, and it appears that a couple of people agree with my disagreement. Please discuss this change here and whether it should be reverted.

The difference between an adolescent and a child is grounded in sex biology. Storytelling-wise and these-tropes-wise, it really doesn't matter. That is an arbitrary distinction for the purpose of this index.

I agree with the first two people. "Kid" can be used to mean non-adult. Kid Hero even says that they're generally about 14. Child Soldiers is noteworthy because developed countries don't let someone sign up for the military until they're of age.

No, they can only be "kids" if they are under 13.

Garfield, you do not get to redefine what does and does not count as a certain kind of trope unilaterally. That isn't how this wiki works. There needs to be discussion over it. As-is, for the wiki's purposes, "kid" refers to anyone who has not reached adulthood.

Also, dude, you are the only person supporting this addition. All other people commenting have disagreed.
