Fairly undetailed. Needs a bit more explanation on how they fit.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, Yuu, at the age of thirteen, was accepted to a university in the US and by the time he was 19 was already the head of a project that would have revolutionized physics.
Aoi, on the other hand, was so smart her mother believed she was cheating, and could solve quantum physics problems by the time Yuu started teaching at her school.
- Lex and Tim Murphy in Jurassic Park combined were the Teen Genius. She was the computers; he was the dinosaurs.
Lex might fit the trope, but Tim didn't seem old enough.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettDoes a straight example of the trope HAVE to include angst? Because I'm seeing various examples listed that are basically going, "such-and-such, who isn't really much of a straight example, because they're not all angsty."
Does Kate Bishop really qualify? She's smart, but I wouldn't call her a genius.
Permission to add Yuu Tomonaga and Aoi Hirose from Yasashii Sekai no Tsukurikatta to the page. Both are physics geniuses, Yuu in particular was working on his theory before funding got cut off.
