Then when, I assume, the fox became popular, they changed it into a little plush mascot that helps people by reminding them to ask for a carfax report. I don't think that's an example, but I know I've seen the phenomenon before (the thing you're supposed to hate changes into the thing you're supposed to like).. what is that called?
