No, the idea is the fight (or at least the buildup to it) is interrupted, otherwise I would have listed the Wolverine example as Double Subverted instead of Subverted.
As soon as I get an index of interruption-themed tropes launched, this trope will be listed on it.
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.
Does this trope include instances where the characters don't stop the fight to go outside, but end up outside as a course of the fight?
Example: Opening bar fight in The Train Job.
