No tank was ever converted back into civilian use
Maybe not any already built tank, but the Soviets built plenty of civilian heavy vehicles on tank chassis.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.
Bulldozers. Zigzagged.
It is a civilian equipment, but the front blade is bulletproof by its own nature, and it is built to be rugged like a tank. To be used as an earth mover in the mid of a warzone, it just needs bulletproof windows and some sort of grille to force Rocket Propelled Grenades shot against it to explode before hitting flat surfaces, and you got yourself a tool of peace that can be used in the middle of a warzone.
No tank was ever converted back into civilian use, because you'd get a bulldozer if you did that. Compare to Weaponized Tropes https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WeaponizedTropes.
