I never played the game, so I'm not completely sure, but the whole thing reminds me very much of Deus Ex-Human Revolution. Shouldn't it be mentioned in examples?
Wonder if we should replace the page image with a composite of arm-devices used by Badgerclops from Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart. Since I personally think he's the best example of this trope.
