What I've admittedly thought about this, are there really enough examples for this? Specifically superhero movies? It doesn't seem like it happens enough to be particularly "superhero movies have villains die".

Um... I heard there's one in X-Men Apocalypse... I want to put it there but I don't think it's been officially confirmed yet, I'm not sure whether I believe it
