I'm thinking of Dr. Jeffrey Geiger from Chicago Hope going from being a brain surgeon to being a psychiatrist, or Dr. Julia Ogden from Murdoch Mysteries, who goes from being a coroner to being on staff at a Children's Hospital to being in private practice as a psychiatrist.
