Per TRS, this was merged with Status Effects.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Not to be weird, but why is this called "Status" and not "Stats"?????
The latter is MUCH more accurate, as the buff/nerfs are to a player or character's *statistics*. Status is much more of a general holistic term, and isn't commonly used in RP Gs or tabletop gaming at all.
That is, one NEVER buffs/nerfs "status", because that's the entire collection of everything relevant to the character/player. One buffs/nerfs *particular* statistics (e.g. Health, Attack, Defense, Magic ability, etc.).
This trope is misnamed, and it's confusing because the chosen name really isn't a term used for the target audience.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIn Fire Emblem Heroes, there's a new status ailment called Deep Wounds, it prevents the hero from getting healed.
In Morrowind there is blindness but all it does is darken the screen so the player cannot see anything. It comes with varying degrees. The higher the % the darker is, completely black on %100. Or at least that's how I remember it, correct me if I am wrong
Why is this not an index page of any sort? It lists a lot of tropes and catalogues them all as being subtropes of itself. That's exactly how an index functions, yet this page isn't one because....?
