Does anyone know the title of the book in this meme where a character is described with “skin the color of just-pressed olive oil?”

The author seems to be Madeline Miller.

Mallomar? what the hell's one of those? Ah right, it's a teacake. A Tunnock's Chocolate Teacake, to be precise. Had to look it up, though. Got the idea now.

Perhaps it goes without saying, but the reason this works so well is that unadulterated coffee has the exact color of the maximum melanin skin can hold, while cream is similarly the precise shade of unpigmented skin (blood aside).
