I'm deleting the following item from the section on Star Trek Voyager because it's simply false:
- During the last 3 seasons, they encounter a "mutara-class" nebula almost every episode.
According to Memory Alpha, Mutara-class nebulas appeared in three of the 168 episodes.

Also deleting the following claim:
- Voyager evoked this trope literally every episode.
Clearly, some troper really doesn't like Voyager. That doesn't justify making up bogus statements like these. The Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgement is still in effect.
Edited by 75.182.67.118The introductory article hints at the fact that "space clouds" are not a real phenomenon, but it doesn't say it explicitly. Am I correct in my understanding that this is an example of Artistic License, and that Space Does Not Work That Way? If so, the introduction should make that clear.
Start Trek Picard Season 3 has a chase sequence through a "Nebula", with similar sensors-dampening effects.
