alliterator: I don't think this is a duplicate of Empty Shell. This is when a person dies and is brought back without a soul - Empty Shell is just about a body that had no person inside it and is, essentially, "empty" of everything.

That's precisely what happened, and no, this isn't a duplicate of Empty Shell.

Plonking this here because it doesn't add much to the example, which is fully covered by the first level bullet point still on the page, it's quite likely natter, and the detailed explanation should be on the works page if it belongs anywhere on the wiki. Also removed the YMMV/Mary Sue potholes.
