How come this isn't a YMMV trope? This really does look like a trope that would be YMMV. What could be overly complicated to one person could be easy to grasp for someone else after all.
Okay, a couple of the entries talking about fighting games make mention of "keyboards." I am of the opinion that if you try to use a keyboard to play a fighting game, that's not this trope. That's the player trying to use a controller not intended for the game, analogous to trying to play a fighting game with a DDR pad. Thoughts?
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.com Hide / Show RepliesI had actually some difficulty doing a shoryuken with PS 2 controller due to that Z motion that Capcom likes to use. I can nail the other moves but it is often somewhat difficult to do on a regular controller than it is with a stick.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."If the game has default keyboard maps that induce required dexterity, then the burden of difficulty still falls on the game. Ergo, it is this trope.
The original pic for the trope is now a 404 link. If anyone has a better link to the same comic go ahead and do so.
