Samantha Brick warrants further discussion. In the first place, her attractiveness is very much YMMV: She's not ugly, but nor is she the drop-dead stunner she purports herself to be. Additionally, when one actually reads more of her writing, particularly about her husband who has stated outright that he will leave her if her looks begin to deteriorate, and about her doting father, one can't help but question the veracity of her stories of gifts, flowers, free drinks, being hated only because of her looks, etc.
To be honest, it puts me in mind of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
I thought I'd expand on the trope in general. While So Beautiful It's a Curse isn't a flaw in and of itself, it can most certainly lead to the character in question developing flaws in general as a response to this, and instill in the character some pretty harmful and emotionally damaging beliefs about themselves and the world around them.

the tl;dr being: a model was refused jobs for three years because of a meme image essentially accusing her of someone having a plastic surgery (she has not) to get a husband (she's unmarried), and said husband sued her because her children came out ugly (most likely hoax, originated from 2004 in a yellow journalism outlet).

Deleted this entry about Casca because I feel it's used out of context.
- Even before the Eclipse, Casca had to deal with would-be assailants, all of whom never passed up the chance to tell her how attractive she was before trying to rape her. They were fewer and farther between, however, due to her being 1) a mercenary who could take care of herself if needed, and 2) surrounded by other mercenaries who viewed her as a "sister."
Please remember the context of this trope to avoid the Unfortunate Implications involving rape. It could be implying that "beauty", sexual attraction, or one's sexuality is the only motivation behind rape. When it could just as easily involve power play, entitlement, and "putting her in her place". And in a world like Berserk's where a lot of the men are slimy, depraved sleazebags, them trying to take abvantage of the only woman in the nearest vincity, is a given.
