The picture doesn't illustrate the trope very well, and is in fact misleading: it shows one snob and one slob, while the trope is clearly about two groups.

Does FORKS (slobs) vs SPOONS (snobs) count as this trope, or would they go under a different one?

Best not to trope internal wiki groups. In any case we're not gonna be judging real-world groups or individuals as slobs or snobs in general.

There was a PC game I remember reading about, at least ten years ago now, which was set underwater - something about tiny people living in underwater cities, and travelling around in little submarines. There were at least two sides, and one of them was basically stereotypical hippies, which showed in their architecture and technology, while the other was far more clean and shiny tech.

No idea what it was called, though.
