Lately, TV Tropes is going from silly to serious. Cerbrus Syndrome, perhaps?
If Lucy from Elfen Lied is considered one of the most tragic characters of all time (albeit as a villain protagonist), then how come it's an anime/manga that probably doesn't itself seriously?
I guess there is the whole Chobit like thing with her Nyu personality though, but still...
