I thought it might be worth mentioning that Ayn Rand considers this to be pretty much the greatest evil (if I understand her philosophy correctly.) But this article says no real life examples.

It could be put under Literature if it's a major theme in her writing. I've not read Rand so it would be up to someone more familiar with her work.
I messaged Kosha Vinka a little while back, and was told the Complete Monster page image character's name is Crägnuum Mundomarauder. Could we call him that on the SoYouWantTo.Write A Complete Monster entry in the Web Original folder instead of just "the villain"? Either way, I'm surprised we're even troping This Very Wiki!
