Should Ainz be on this page? he is explicitly a Villain Protagonist, so putting him as an example of this trope is a bit weird
Edited by MABfan11 Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistMaybe this trope needs a YMMV label. What's defined as interesting varies for everyone. Some of these examples(even some of the ones I've added) definitely straddle the line between "Invincible Hero whose actions I find cool" and "How they going to win this time".
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living things Hide / Show RepliesMaybe it needs the vary elements toned down or removed. Just limit it to "story would be basically over if they lose so they probably are not going to lose." It does not really need commentary on "fun", "cool" or "interest".

His explanation for removing it is, "That doesn't really discuss the trope." I added the quote because Superman is essentially saying that a Boring Invincible Hero would be far less creative in things like outwitting and apprehending his foes than a showy one.
Edited by NESBoyThis trope needs to be cleaned up because many of the examples give are simply relics of the fact the heroes (almost) always win, otherwise you'd have a very short show with a very abrupt ending.
Does Kratos count? He almost always wins, but does so in such a over-the-top gory way that nobody minds.
