Re: Rare gender reversal: In Danny Phantom, the Jewish Sam has sexual tension with the Gentile Danny: The male equivalent of shiksa is "shaygets. [ shaygetz, sheigetz, shaigetz, sheygets, shegetz]"
Edited by giertrudHalf of the description and some of the examples got changed with the justification of "falsehood" and "offensive language" but without any discussion first.
Hide / Show RepliesHmm, I'm not sure about the above but I can see someone taking offense to the "smarter and more attractive" comment. Any objections to getting that removed?
Another film reference: Lenny staring Dustin Hoffman. His character refers to his future-wife as a Shiksa Goddess.
The reason this trope is usually Jewish guy/ Gentile girl isn't just Most Writersare Male, it's because in Judaism, any children by a Jewish mother are automatically Jews, while if the mother is Gentile (unless she converted before the kids were born), the children are considered Gentile and have to convert. Therefore, intermarriage is generally slightly less frowned-upon for women than men.
What's the image? There's no reference to it in the description or examples. Is it just "random image of a somewhat attractive non-Jewish woman"?
